Bull Shoals Lake is 45000 surface acres with over 1200 miles of shoreline. “The Bull,” is normally calm, to slight swells, with up to 20 feet surface visibility. The uncrowded coves, nooks, and crannies allow everyone a peaceful place to enjoy. Water sports include jet skis, knee boarding, barefoot skiing, and wakeboarding. Of course, Fishing is king. Black Bass are abundant and smallmouth, and whites closely behind. Catfish up to 90 lbs. have been taken. During the proper water temp times black and white Crappie are great. Also, Walleye do well in spring and fall. A pending World Record freshwater Hybrid Striper weighing in at 68 lbs. was a local catch. Yellow Perch are now being caught.
Scuba Diving is excellent! You do need a wetsuit below 20 feet, even in the heat of the summer.
Kerry and I love to explore and hike the Corps lands around “The Bull.” Wildlife is abundant if you are quiet.
Cliff jumping is a popular Family event. There are endless beaches to picnic on and home base from.
